MANAGING PARTNER, DAR AL AMMAN LEGAL CONSULTANCY & ARBITRATION
A member firm of the Abu-Ghazaleh Group Muscat – Sultanate of Oman
Managing the Law firm technically and administratively.
Provide assistance in marketing the law firm in Oman and GCC countries as well as internationally through the Abu Ghazaleh Group.
Appear before the Omani Commercial Courts representing various international clients in litigation.
Provide legal opinions in different corporate law related matters.
Provide legal opinion and services related to Intellectual Property laws and regulations.
Representing various international trademarks owners and law firms, such as DOUX, Motorola, Pepsi inc., Disney .etc; as well as a French company dealing with the Armed Forces for the U.A.E., and the “KAMAZ” trucks manufacturers Arab- Russian Trading Company.
Filing Objections and cancellation petitions before the Trademarks Registrar.
Filing criminal cases of infringement against any copyrights counterfeiters.
Follow up with the trademarks Registrar on any disputed process of registration of any trademark.
Follow up on administrate related issues to the law firm, such as but not limited to, recruitment, marketing and printing press related matters, follow up on the licenses of the firm etc.
Conducting a complementary and marketing site visits to potential corporate customers.
GENERAL MANAGER, ARAB BUREAU FOR LEGAL SERVICES (ABLE):

Leading the firm in terms of motivation of partners and associates.
Provide guidance to the partners to the directions and goals of the firm.
Follow- up to accomplish the agreed directions and goals.
Day-to-day management oversight for the firm.
Supervision of the office administrator and supervision of the clerical and accounting staff.
Coordinate and direct of marketing efforts and relations with firm clients.
Conduct criminal and civil lawsuits, draws up legal documents, advises clients as to legal rights, and practices other phases of law.
Gather evidence in divorce, civil, criminal, and other cases to formulate defense or to initiate legal action.
Conduct research, interviews clients and witnesses, and handle other details in preparation for trial.
Prepare legal briefs, develops strategy, arguments, and testimony in preparation for presentation of case.
File brief with court clerk.
Represent client in court and before quasi-judicial or administrative agencies of government.
Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
Confer with colleagues with specialty in area of lawsuit to establish and verify basis for legal proceedings.
Act as trustee, guardian, or executor.
Advise corporate clients concerning transactions of business involving internal affairs, stockholders, directors, officers, and corporate relations with general public.
Supervise and coordinate activities of subordinate legal personnel.
Prepare business contracts, pay taxes, settle labor disputes, and administer other legal matters.
Setting up companies, re-organization and restructuring the Business, helping clients to set up their business after understanding their need and their nature of business. Also, Negotiations to set up a tyre recycling plant (US $ 60 Million project) in Saudi Arabia to produce a rubber Powder materials, the negotiations held in Germany- Berlin.

Setting up the growth of the Firm’s presence and service-delivery capabilities in Amman – Jordan to be a regional hub for its 34 offices in the Arab World.
Provide leadership and support in three critical areas:
Deliver legal services to the Firm’s clients and thereby contributes to the Firm’s fee revenue.
Contribute to the Firm’s success and focus on the implementation of the Firm’s strategy and the delivery of its business plan and marketing plan with respect to services delivered by the firm.
Responsible and accountable for the financial and operational performance of the firm, as well as its day-to-day administration.
Producing periodical reports to the ultimate investors of the Firm with respect to issues involving implementation of the Firm’s business strategy, delivery of the Firm’s annual business plan, execution of the Firm’s marketing plan, and the delivery of professional services to clients.
Producing periodical reports to the Chief Financial Officer of Abu Ghazaleh Group of the Firm with respect to financial management; facilities and logistics; implementation of administrative policy; internal communications; human resources management.
Improve long-term revenue generation by strengthening the firm’s client base in the Riyadh market and internationally through the provision of legal services to international clients.
Manage the profitability of client engagements served by fee earners and staff in the Firm offices.
Implement and deliver the Firm’s annual business plan with respect to activities in the Regional Office.
Implement and deliver the Firm’s marketing plan with respect to activities in the Regional Office.
Manage fee earners and staff in the Regional Office to deliver the highest levels of service to the Firm’s clients.
Reinforce the highest ethical standards among partners and personnel in the Regional Office.
Creating a positive image of the Firm, both in the Amman/Jordan area and also internationally;
Providing a positive leadership example for lawyers and staff throughout the Firm.
In coordination with the Strategic Investor of the Firm, manage the day-to-day operations of the Regional Office in areas such as:
Facilities, furnishings, equipment, and logistics;
Financial management and accounting;
Internal office communications;
Client relations; and
Human resources management.
